The bottom plate is the panel that closes the underside of the nozzle on the Panasonic MC-UG775 OptiFlow upright, wrapping the brush roll and turning the nozzle into a sealed suction chamber. Part AC91ADDWZV07 replaces it.

These plates crack where they clip in, and they warp if the machine has been run over a threshold or a stray toy often enough. The moment the plate stops sitting flat, air comes in through the gap instead of through the floor inlet, and the vacuum feels weak at the carpet even though the motor sounds strong and the filters are clean. It is a common misdiagnosis, with people chasing the bag and the hose while the leak is underneath.

The plate comes off for brush roll access anyway, so fitting a new one takes only as long as clearing the roller. Confirm the MC-UG775 on the data plate before ordering.
