This 19-inch pigtail cord, part 36109, is a universal black jumper with one male and one female end. It bridges the electrical gap between an electric hose and a power nozzle — or anywhere else a short two-pin link has failed — so current keeps reaching the brush motor.
Pigtails die from flexing. The jacket cracks near the plugs, the contacts loosen, and the powerhead starts cutting out mid-pass or quits altogether. Because the cord is inexpensive and easy to reach, it is the first thing worth swapping before condemning a hose or a nozzle.
