Pipe Adaptor, 1-13/16" White, Fits Oversize VacuFlo Central Vac Pipe

Some VacuFlo central vacuum installations were plumbed with 1-13/16 inch outside-diameter pipe rather than the 2 inch OD stock that became the industry standard, meaning off-the-shelf fittings will not seat on that tubing without an adaptor in between. This white adaptor joins a 1-13/16 inch VacuFlo pipe end to a standard 2-inch connection.

The adaptor's inner bore is sized to slip over the 1.8125 inch VacuFlo pipe and present a true 2-inch fitting on the other end, so standard central vacuum couplings, tees, and inlet fittings can join onto it without machining or forcing the joint. A proper interface here matters because a loose or undersized joint bleeds suction at every use, and a joint under tension from a forced fit is more likely to crack or separate later.

Dry-fit the adaptor onto the existing pipe before cementing to confirm a snug, even seat all the way around before committing to a permanent solvent weld, and clean any old cement residue or dust from the pipe end first so the adaptor seats fully.
