When a central vacuum inlet door yellows, cracks, or stops snapping shut, air leaks through it around the clock and the whole system loses suction. This white Plastiflex inlet valve with a round door, part SV8016, replaces the worn valve and restores the seal.
The round door swings open to accept a standard hose cuff and closes flat against the wall plate when you are done. Mounting screws are included, so the swap is a simple unscrew-and-replace job at the wall.
Plastiflex is one of the long-running names in central vacuum fittings, and this valve follows the common round-door style found throughout installed systems. In white, it blends with standard trim and wall plates rather than announcing itself.
