Electrolux Q Series Power N...

Product details

Central vacuum power nozzles have their own motor, separate from the suction unit, and its only job is spinning the brush roll. Part 155263 is that motor for the Electrolux Q Series nozzles.

Because the suction comes from elsewhere, a dying nozzle motor produces a very specific complaint: airflow is unchanged, but the roll slows, stops, or cuts in and out as you clean. You may also get a hot electrical smell at the head, a rising whine, or heavier vibration through the wand.

This is a mains-powered motor mounted inside the nozzle housing, with its wiring running back through the wand, so it is a job worth handing to a technician unless you are confident with the connections. Confirm you have a Q Series nozzle before ordering, since power nozzle motors are not interchangeable between families.
