Fitted with a flat side shaft, this replacement Ametek Lamb power nozzle motor (Part #118111-53) is a 120-volt, single-stage unit built for specific power nozzle applications. It drives the brush roll inside the floor nozzle, which is what agitates carpet fibers to lift embedded dirt.

When a power nozzle motor fails, the brush roll stops spinning even though the main vacuum keeps pulling suction, so carpets no longer get their deep-cleaning agitation. Fitting the correct motor returns the brush roll to full speed and restores effective carpet cleaning.
