A ten-foot RCP hose assembly, part X2058, built for spotting machines. RCP is rugged crushproof construction: a heavy spiral wall that keeps its bore when the hose is stepped on, wheeled over or dragged around a door frame, which is exactly the life a spotter hose leads.
Ten feet suits the way spotters are actually used: the machine sits beside the stain and the operator works within a small radius, so a longer hose is dead weight and one more length of tube to lose suction in.
