    Part SF215M is the 15 in. shower-feed carpet brush that goes under a 17 in. rotary floor machine, the Powr-Flite C171HD included. Solution feeds through the block while nylon filament works the pile, which is how a rotary shampoos carpet without a sprayer running ahead of it.

    Worn bristles announce themselves as a loss of bite: the machine still spins, but the lane comes up flat and grey. That is the point to change the brush rather than slow the pass down.
