Some jobs move more air and debris than a single motor keeps pace with, and the PF57 is Powr-Flite's answer: two 1.6 horsepower motors on a twenty gallon 18 gauge stainless tank, built for commercial-scale wet/dry work rather than occasional shop cleanup.
The pair is rated at 192 CFM, well above the 114 CFM a single-motor Powr-Flite tank vacuum moves, against 80 inches of water lift. That trade is worth understanding before ordering: the dual-motor head is built to move volume rather than to post the highest lift figure in the range, which suits bulk water and debris recovery more than it suits pulling through a long, restricted hose. Filtration is two-stage, a pleated paper primary behind a washable cloth secondary, and both are reusable.
Stainless at this size follows the same reasoning as the smaller stainless models: repeated dumping and constant liquid exposure wear through lighter tank materials faster than a professional crew wants to deal with. Tip and pour drainage handles emptying, the head is sound insulated to 77 dB at 8 feet, and the machine rolls on 8 inch non-scuff wheels with a 30 foot pigtail cord at 78 pounds.
