Powr-Flite Backpack Vacuum ...

Product details

This plastic carrier, part B352-1100, holds a backpack vacuum's post-motor filter squarely in its seat, so exhaust travels through the media instead of leaking around its border.

Powr-Flite's own parts catalog lists this frame for the PF300BP backpack. If you run a different backpack platform, confirm the frame against your machine's part diagram or the frame you are removing before ordering rather than assuming it fits by shape alone.

When heat warps the frame or a mounting tab breaks off, the filter shifts loose in its seat, and unfiltered air moving past the media instead of through it sends dust straight into the motor compartment. On a pack carried through a full shift, that leak also means fine dust exhausting near head height instead of staying trapped where it belongs. Filter frames like this one are easy to overlook during a quick filter swap because the frame itself looks fine at a glance, and only close inspection under light shows the hairline crack or the tab that no longer grips. Building a full frame check into every filter change catches the problem before it costs suction.

  • Part: post filter frame, B352-1100
  • Fits: Powr-Flite PF300BP backpack, per the Powr-Flite parts catalog
  • Position: post-motor filtration stage
  • Function: holds the post-motor filter square against its seat
  • Symptom if damaged: filter shifts, allowing unfiltered air and dust past the media

Replace the filter itself on its usual schedule, and swap the frame out on its own once it stops gripping firmly, even if the filter inside it still looks serviceable. Keep the frame and filter as a matched pair when you order, since pairing a new frame with a worn filter, or the reverse, still leaves the seal weaker than a fresh matched set.
