Product details
Part B352-0800 is the secondary filter plate fitted to the PF300BP, Powr-Flite's backpack vacuum. This rigid frame backs the secondary filter media on its downstream face, holding the media flat so no gap opens along its edge for dust to slip through unfiltered.
Plastic parts mounted this close to a running motor take steady heat cycling over the life of a machine, and a frame that has absorbed enough of it can bow outward at a corner or develop a hairline crack near a mounting tab. Either failure breaks the seal at that spot, and fine dust starts finding its way past the media instead of through it, which defeats the entire purpose of running a second filtration stage in the first place.
Look the plate over any time the secondary filter itself comes out for service. Hold it flat against a bench and check for daylight under a corner, or flex it gently at each mounting tab to feel for give. A frame that no longer sits flush, or shows a crack at a tab, should come out even if the rest of it looks sound, because a slightly lifted edge is enough to let dust through with no obvious sign from outside the machine.
Set the replacement into the housing with the filter media resting squarely against it, then confirm every edge makes even contact before the secondary filter cap goes back over the assembly.
