Powr-Flite gasket for a drain elbow joint, part X1940. This is the seal that decides whether waste water leaves through the drain line or seeps out around the fitting and down the side of the machine.
A weeping drain is far more often the seal than the elbow itself. Rubber takes a set from being clamped, stiffens from hot water and cleaning chemistry, and stops filling the gap it was cut to fill. Swapping the gasket is a few minutes of work with a bucket underneath and costs a fraction of what the fitting does, so it is the sensible first move on a slow leak.
