Product details

Order part X9714 for a Carpet Pro SCBP-1.2 backpack that needs its full hardwire cord replaced: fifty feet of bright yellow jacket built for the hardwire system on these machines. A run that long covers an entire corridor or several rooms from one outlet, which is the point of a hardwire cord on a commercial route, where hunting for the next receptacle costs minutes on every single pass.

Several other machines share this exact cord too. It supplies the CleanMax CMBP-6.2, both the Eureka and Sanitaire versions of the SC412B, and four Powr-Flite models: the BP6P, the BP6S, the BP10P, and the BP10S.

Across a cleaning route this cord takes more physical punishment than nearly anything else on the machine, stepped on repeatedly, wound tight around cable cleats, and freed from outlets by grabbing the plug rather than the wall fitting. Any nick deep enough to show bare conductor means retiring it on the spot rather than taping over the damage and continuing to run it.

Disconnect at the wall before removing the old cord, and once the replacement goes in, run a hand along its entire length checking for damage rather than looking only at the two ends. The yellow color is a practical safety feature as much as a visual one, since it stands out against most flooring and is easier for coworkers to spot and avoid than a darker cord blending into the floor.
