Powr-Flite's NM2000 turns its pad at 2,000 RPM and represents the reworked Millennium Edition burnisher. Its housing is a patented design, and the machine's mass is balanced to a fine tolerance across the head so the pad meets the floor evenly over its whole face.
That balance is what does away with the compensating caster propping up the head on a conventional burnisher. Nothing lifts one side, the full pad stays down on the finish, and pad contact at this speed is what produces the wet-look gloss the machine is bought for.
