This is the full brush roll assembly for the Powr-Flite PF28SV sweeper vacuum, ordered as X9944. It arrives assembled rather than as a bare roll, so the bristle strips and end hardware come together and the machine goes back together in one sitting.
The roll is what sweeps debris toward the intake, and on a sweeper it is the first thing to wear out. Bristles shorten, the roll stops reaching the floor, and pick-up falls off long before the motor gives any trouble. Cutting wound-in string and hair off the roll at each bag change buys it a longer life.
