Detail bays ask a carpet extractor to do a smaller, warmer job than a hotel corridor does, and the PFX1080CW is Powr-Flite's build for it: ten gallons of solution against eight of recovery, with a 1200 watt heater sitting in the solution line.
Heat is the reason to take this heated build over Powr-Flite's plain version of the same platform. Seat fabric, mats and headliners hold body oils and traffic soil that cold water works through slowly, and a shop charging by the vehicle rather than by the square foot gets that time back directly. The pump delivers at 100 p.s.i., and a single three-stage vacuum motor rated at 135 inches of waterlift and 97 CFM takes the water back so an interior can be handed over sooner.
The 20 ft Insider hose carries the solution line within the vacuum hose, so a single bundle follows the hand tool into a car. Powr-Flite supplies it with a stainless steel detailing hand tool and a 25 ft extension cord, and the machine rolls on 10 in. stair-climbing wheels with a second set at the handle for loading.
