Powr-Flite's Prowler, model PFX900S, carries nine gallons behind an 18 in. cleaning path, which is the pairing that suits crews working hallways, guest rooms and open commercial carpet on a schedule rather than one-off calls.
A chevron-style floating brush head agitates at 1300 RPM in front of the vacuum shoe, while two removable jets deliver solution at 100 p.s.i. Being able to pull those jets out matters more than it sounds: a partly blocked jet leaves a dry stripe down the middle of a pass and is the first thing to check when a machine starts streaking. Recovery runs through a 1.3 hp three-stage motor rated at 120 inches of waterlift and 90 CFM.
