Part PFX-KIT2 is Powr-Flite's single-jet carpet wand rated to a 500 PSI maximum, built around an 11002 spray jet. The higher pressure ceiling pairs this wand with harder-pumping extractors, while the single-jet head keeps the spray path simple to check and clear compared with a double-jet design. It is a double-bend wand with a brass control valve at the handle.
A wand rated well above what your machine actually produces is not a problem by itself, since running a high-pressure wand on a lower-pressure pump simply means it never sees its full rated load. The reverse is the failure mode to avoid: pushing more pressure through a wand than it is built for stresses the seals at the handle connection first, and a seal failure there shows up as a sudden pressure drop paired with solution leaking at the joint rather than spraying from the jet.
Jet wear follows the same pattern here as on any spray tip. The orifice widens gradually as solution passes through it, and a worn jet lays down a broader, thinner pattern than a new one at the same pressure, which reads to the operator as streaky or incomplete wetting on a pass that used to come out even.

Flushing the wand with clean water at the end of a job keeps dried solution from building up inside the barrel. Residue narrowing that internal passage produces the same streaky, uneven spray as a worn jet would, even on a wand whose orifice is otherwise in good shape, so a wand that sprays poorly is not automatically a wand that needs a new jet.
