    Part F49P is the pad retainer that clamps a floor pad to the driver on Powr-Flite PAS17BA and PAS20BA auto scrubbers. A spring-loaded Center-Lok sits in the middle of the pad and pulls it down against the holder, so the pad turns with the driver instead of creeping outward and walking off under load.

    A pad that slips is more than an annoyance. It scrubs unevenly, wears out on one edge, and can strike the deck skirt at speed. Retainers get replaced periodically because the spring tension that does the holding fades with repeated compression.
