This is the full vacuum motor cover assembly from Powr-Flite, part 05-3418-0000. It arrives with the cover itself, its mounting screws and a set of three gaskets, so the seal is renewed at the same time as the cover.

The cover closes the vacuum motor compartment off from the recovery side of the machine. Gaskets are the part that actually determines whether that works: once they harden or split, air leaks in around the motor rather than being drawn through the intake, and the machine loses lift with nothing visibly wrong. Replacing cover and gaskets together saves chasing a suction complaint back to a flattened piece of foam weeks later.
