The Powr-Flite Valet, VBUII-1, is a cordless upright vacuum sold as the machine on its own. Neither the battery nor the charger is packed with it, so both must be ordered to put the unit into service.
Buying the bare machine makes sense in two situations. Fleets already standardized on a battery platform can add another vacuum without paying twice for cells and chargers they own, and sites running a shared charging bank often want more machines than packs. If this is a first Valet rather than an addition to a fleet, plan on sourcing a compatible battery and charger at the same time.
