Part 834804 is the 15-inch power nozzle base for ProTeam's commercial ProGen uprights, fitting both the ProGen 15 and the ProGen 12. It is the moulded housing at floor level that encloses the brush roll and forms the channel the airflow travels along on its way into the machine.
Because it is the lowest part of the vacuum it takes every impact the machine meets, and a base that has cracked or warped stops sealing against the floor. Air then enters through the crack instead of through the brush chamber, and the effect is exactly what you would expect: the nozzle stops picking up along the damaged side, and debris gets flicked out rather than drawn in.
If cleaning has fallen off and the brush roll and belt both look healthy, turn the machine over and check the base for splits around the mounting points.
