This is the attachment hose for ProForce uprights fitted with on-board tools, the flexible length running from the machine body to the wand so stairs, edges, and upholstery can be cleaned without unplugging anything. Part 104961 replaces it when the original splits.
Hoses fail from the inside out. Long before a hole is visible, the wire reinforcement works its way through the wall and air leaks along the length, so the crevice tool feels dead while the machine sounds completely normal. Flexing the hose with the vacuum running will usually find the spot.
It fits the ProTeam 1200XP, ProForce 1200XP, 1500XP, and ProForce 1500XP uprights and connects at both ends exactly as the original does. Check the cuffs as well as the hose itself, since a loose cuff leaks just as much as a puncture.
