ProTeam Lower Harness Assembly - ProVac FS6 Backpack

Part 840114 replaces the harness's lower portion only, on ProTeam's ProVac FS 6, the closely related 1073110 and 1073120 models, and both the GoFree Flex Pro and its GoFree Flex Pro II successor. Because it is sold as its own assembly, the lower half can be renewed on its own when it wears, without touching straps that still have life in them.

Signs it needs replacing show up as slack that will not adjust out, a strap that has stretched or torn where it loops through the lower buckle, or padding that has flattened enough to let the frame ride against the operator directly. None of it stops the vacuum from running, but all of it makes an eight-hour shift wearing the machine noticeably worse than it should be.

The lower section also flexes every time an operator turns at the waist while working a corner or a stairwell, a different mix of stresses than the shoulder straps see, so wear there does not always show up in step with the rest of the harness. A split assembly like this one suits exactly that situation: renew the section that has actually worn and leave the rest alone.

Because this is the lower assembly only, the upper straps and shoulder pads stay in place during the swap; there is no need to strip the whole harness to fix a problem confined to the bottom half.
