Product details

Motor housing for the ProTeam Pro 6 backpack, part 510188. It also covers the Pro 10 line, the ProVac FS 6, the Super Coach Pro 6 and Super Coach Pro 10, and the units listed as 1073110 and 1073120.

The housing wraps the motor and forms part of the sealed path the air follows through the machine. If it is cracked, or if the surface it seals against has been damaged, the vacuum draws air straight into the motor chamber instead of through the hose. Suction goes flat at the tool, and the motor takes in unfiltered air for as long as the fault goes unnoticed.

This is an internal repair. Disconnect the machine from power first, and seat every motor component squarely as you put it back together.
