Part 100422 is the replacement vacuum motor for ProTeam backpack machines, supplied with the crimp terminals already fitted so it wires straight in. It replaces the Ametek Lamb motor 122157-00 used across ProTeam's 6 and 10 quart backpacks.
Motors give plenty of warning before they stop. Carbon brushes wear down and suction slides away gradually, bearings dry out and the pitch climbs into a whine, and a failing armature smells hot within a minute or two of switching on. Once there is a burning smell, the motor is finished, and running it further puts the wiring around it at risk.
It fits the ProTeam ProVac, QuarterVac and Super QuarterVac, AviationVac, TailVac, QuietPro BP, GoCartVac, CoachVac, Super CoachVac HEPA, and the LineVacer HEPA and ULPA backpacks.
