ProTeam part 844156 is the switch box assembly for the GoFit 3, GoFit 6, GoFit 6 Plus and GoFit 10 backpack vacuums. It is supplied complete with the yellow cord guide, the piece that routes the cord cleanly out of the box instead of letting it kink at the exit.
The current version of this assembly has a cord wrap built into the side of the box. That is a real improvement over the older arrangement, because the extension lead is held rather than left to hang, so the plug is not taking the strain every time an operator turns around.
Fit it when the switch has become unreliable, when the box has cracked around its mountings, or when the cord guide has broken away and the cord has started chafing where it leaves the housing. Disconnect the machine from power first.
