Product details
Every press of a backpack vacuum's power switch runs current through the same small set of internal contacts, and thousands of presses eventually wear them down. Part 106066 is the replacement switch ProTeam uses across a wide span of its backpack lineup, from the Super Coach Pro series through several of its GoFree and Aviation models.
A worn switch shows itself in a few familiar ways: it sticks partway, it needs a firm push before the machine responds, or the vacuum stays dead even after the cord and the wall outlet have both checked out fine. None of those point to a motor problem, which is why chasing the switch first, before opening the motor housing, saves a lot of wasted diagnostic time.
It fits the ProTeam AviationVac, GoFree Flex Pro, GoFree Flex Pro II, ProVac FS 6, QuarterVac, Super Half Vac, Super Coach Pro 10, and Super Coach Pro 6. Swapping it means opening the box with the machine unplugged, noting which wire lands on which terminal, and seating every connector fully before closing it back up. A machine that is completely dead rather than just intermittent is also worth checking at the cord and strain relief, since those wear on a similar timeline.
