Product details
Part 510192 covers the tensioning straps for ProTeam's Super Coach Pro family of backpack vacuums, the adjustment straps an operator pulls to take up slack in the harness and set the pack snug before a shift instead of fighting a loose frame all day long.
Fits the ProTeam Super Coach Pro 6, Super Coach Pro 10, ProVac FS 6, GoFree Flex Pro II, GoFree Flex Pro, 1073120, and 1073110.
Webbing stretches with heat and repeated flexing, and once it does the strap stops holding its adjustment. The pack rides looser with every hour worn, the shoulder pads start to rotate off the collarbone, and an operator ends up cinching the buckle again partway through a route that used to need only one adjustment at the start of the day. Fraying at the stitch line or a strap that slips back through its buckle under load are both signs the webbing has reached the end of its working life. A harness that has gone slack does more than feel uncomfortable: weight that should transfer evenly through the frame concentrates instead wherever the strap has given up its hold, which is how a machine that felt fine a month ago starts to feel noticeably heavier without anything mechanical inside it having actually changed.
- Part: 510192, tensioning straps
- Fits: Super Coach Pro 6, Super Coach Pro 10, ProVac FS 6, GoFree Flex Pro II, GoFree Flex Pro, 1073120, 1073110
- Function: takes up harness slack so the pack rides tight against the operator
- Replace when: the straps fray at the stitching or will not hold their adjustment through a shift
Straps that see the same daily flexing tend to wear together, so if one has stretched or frayed, inspect the rest of the harness webbing at the same time and replace worn straps as a group rather than one at a time. If you are unsure which straps on the harness these are, check the strap arrangement on your machine against its parts diagram before ordering.
