At 60 feet, part HS402156P is the longest Rapid Flex hose Hide A Hose builds, meant for valve locations that have to reach the far end of a house or for installs with fewer inlets covering more floor each.
Length is the one thing that works against a retractable hose, and Rapid Flex is where the design answers it. The soft flexible nylon pulls out and retracts more easily than the older sock hoses, needs no sock over it at all, and runs a larger diameter that lifts airflow by 20 to 30 percent, so the extra distance costs less suction than it once did.
Tools connect straight onto the mini cuff at the end, the blue 1-3/8 inch HS5000H5, with no coupler in between.
Check a hose this long in daylight rather than in a dim utility room. Kinks that have set in over time, cracking at repeated bend points, and sections that feel softer than the rest are all easy to miss under poor light and obvious once the hose is stretched out somewhere bright.
