A sender handle without a receiver is what part HS302192 provides, the RF Ready Grip Direct Connect version. It transmits the on and off signal but carries no receiver of its own, so it works only where one is already installed at the power unit, normally the receiver that came with the HS302191 kit.
That makes it the right order in two situations: a failed RF handle on a system whose receiver is still good, or a second grip added to a house that already has RF control. Up to ten senders can be programmed to one receiver, and the sender frequency has to match what that receiver is listening for.
The hose twists directly into the handle with no coupler. On older Hide A Hose hoses a mini cuff, part HS5000H4, has to be fitted to each hose first before the direct connection will work.
If the system has stopped responding to every handle rather than only this one, check the receiver and its power connection before ordering a replacement sender. It is also worth confirming which kit the receiver came from, since the sender has to be on the same frequency before it can be programmed to it.
