Wireless control and a suction regulator in one grip describe part HS302194, a Direct Connect Ready Grip handle kit for Hide A Hose systems. It is sold as a kit that includes the hardware needed to get the RF remote control activated, so the handle arrives ready to commission rather than needing a receiver sourced separately.
With the receiver in place, the handle can be carried from one inlet to the next and switch the system on and off from its built in switch wherever it is plugged in. A single receiver supports up to ten handles, so additional grips can follow later without a second receiver.
The regulator on the grip is a vent that opens to take the edge off suction for a curtain, a lampshade or a loose rug, and closes again for carpet. Being a moving part, it can stick or stop closing fully with age, which reads as suction that never quite reaches full strength.
Use with older hoses may call for an adapter, and the mini cuff is the usual part for that, so check the end of your hose before ordering. The mini cuff comes in two versions, so match it to whether your hose carries a sock.
