Bissell part 2036807 is the rear cover, finished in Blue Illusion, that closes off the back of the ProHeat 2X upright deep cleaner platform, spanning several ProHeat 2X model numbers built on the same housing.
Covers on this platform tend to break rather than simply wear thin over time. A tumble down a staircase, a hard bump against a door frame while being carried, or a slow-growing stress fracture spreading out from a screw boss are the usual culprits behind a broken one. Once a section goes missing, the drive belt and the wiring routed near it sit open to lint and carpet fluff, and to cleaning solution that finds its way back toward the nozzle housing during normal operation, which is exactly the kind of moisture a sealed rear panel is meant to keep off exposed electrical connections.
Bissell offered more than one finish on an otherwise identical mold across this generation, so check the color against the panel already on the machine before ordering rather than relying on model number alone, since a mismatched shade is obvious the moment the replacement arrives at the door.
