This genuine OEM Rainbow power nozzle receptacle (Part #R7193) fits the E and E2 series canister and mounts in the original E-2 (eSERIES) face plate assembly. It is the socket that carries power to the PN-2E and Gold version electric hose assembly.

A receptacle with worn, loose, or burned contacts delivers intermittent power to the nozzle, so the brush roll cuts in and out or stops. Damaged contacts can also arc at the connection. Fitting the correct receptacle restores a reliable electrical connection to the power nozzle.
