D235-0400 is the female connector used on household builds of the Riccar 4000 and 6000 series uprights, along with Vibrance and Symmetry machines. It is the socket half of the electrical joint that carries power through the cleaner, and it is a routine repair once the body has heat-damaged, the contacts have darkened, or the mating plug no longer holds under tension.

Commercial versions of the same uprights take their own connector, catalogued as D235-0401, so establish whether the machine is a household or commercial build before ordering.
