Part D431-3200 supplies the internal wiring loom together with its switch as a single serviceable assembly for 4000 and 6000 series uprights. That platform carries the Riccar Vibrance and Simplicity Symmetry machines, and its parts are catalogued by series number rather than by trade name.
Electrical faults on a handle-switched upright rarely announce themselves cleanly. A machine that cuts out when the handle is reclined, refuses to start until the switch is worked back and forth, or trips intermittently under vibration is usually showing a chafed conductor or a worn switch contact, and replacing the harness and switch as one unit removes both suspects at once.
