Belt guard for Simplicity and Riccar uprights across the 4000 series, 6000 series, Vibrance and Symmetry lines, part B020-0000. This guard keeps the belt shielded from carpet debris, pet hair and stray fingers while the brushroll spins beneath it.

A cracked or missing guard leaves the belt exposed to debris, and a belt collecting fiber and grit tends to wear unevenly on one edge rather than lasting out its normal service life, which shows up as premature belt failure even when the brushroll itself still turns freely.
