The diameter motor mount, part B113-1100C, wraps the body of the motor and locates it inside the housing on the newer Simplicity Symmetry 6 series and the matching Riccar Vibrance uprights. It is a supporting component rather than a sealing one, taking radial load and damping the vibration the motor puts into the shell.
