Part D350-3314 is a belt cover assembly built for full-size Simplicity and Riccar power nozzles and comes with its own seals already installed. This cover seals the belt compartment shut on the underside of the nozzle, and its gaskets are what keep that seal airtight, holding suction at the brushroll instead of letting it leak away inside the housing.

After enough belt swaps, the mounting tabs on these covers eventually crack, and the seals typically wear out even sooner than the plastic itself. Buying the cover and seals together means you will not need to place a follow-up order if it turns out the seal, not the cover, was the actual problem.
