Product details

Left-hand pivot bracket for PV-platform Riccar and Simplicity upright vacuums, part B370-3200. The pivot bolts to this bracket, which also positions the bushing so the joint rotates on one true axis instead of wandering as the machine tips back or gets steered around furniture.

Brackets absorb that load every time the upright is tilted, and a cracked one leaves the joint sloppy on that side no matter how new the bushing inside it is, since the bushing depends on the bracket holding its shape to do its job.

  • Side: left-hand
  • Platform: PV series
  • Vendor part number: B370-3200
  • Sold: individually

Left and right brackets are mirrored castings and are stocked separately, so confirm which side has failed before ordering. The MV-platform version of this bracket is a different part entirely, so check your machine's parts diagram if you are unsure which platform you have. Inspect the bushing on the same side while the bracket is out, since a worn bushing left in place will wear a brand-new bracket the same way it wore the old one.
