Part D480-5000 is the pressure switch hose assembly for MV-series Riccar and Simplicity uprights. It is the tube itself, not the pressure switch it connects to and not the switch's mounting parts, all of which are listed separately.

The tube is what carries the pressure reading from the machine's airflow to the switch that drives the bag-full indicator. Because the switch can only act on what the tube relays, a line that has hardened, kinked, worked loose at its fitting or split near the end feeds the switch bad information, which is how a machine ends up reporting a full bag that is not full, or staying quiet over one that genuinely needs changing.
