Cover for the nozzle inlet duct on PV-chassis Riccar and Simplicity uprights, part B370-1514C, in the version cut to clear a dirt sensor. The duct is the passage that carries debris from the nozzle up into the machine, and this cover closes it off so the airstream stays sealed from the base plate to the bag.
The dirt-sensor variant matters. Sensor-equipped machines read the debris passing through this section of the duct, so the cover is shaped to give the sensor its line on the airflow. Fitting the plain cover in its place leaves the sensor reading nothing useful.
