Part D384-2300 is the retro handle mount kit supplied for PV-chassis Riccar and Simplicity uprights. Rather than a single component, it is a full retrofit kit built so a technician can rebuild the handle mounting point on a machine that is already in service, avoiding the need to replace a larger section of the body. Because it ships as a kit, install it as a complete set rather than pulling out individual pieces.

Every push and pull the operator puts through the grip travels straight into this mount, and years of that leverage make it one of the first things to wear loose on a hard-used upright. A loose feel at the joint, a handle sitting off center, or screws that no longer hold their bite are the usual tip-offs that a machine needs this repair, and catching it early spares the rest of the handle assembly from taking on the extra strain.
