Part B113-0230 is the rear motor mount that sits at the fan end of the motor in Riccar and Simplicity uprights. Mounts like this one are the vibration isolators between a motor turning at high speed and the plastic body around it, so they carry load continuously whenever the machine is running.

Why it gets replaced

A perished or compressed mount is worth catching early. The first sign is usually noise, a harder buzz or drone that was not there before, followed by the motor sitting slightly off its intended line and rubbing where it should be clear.
