B470-2300 is the right-hand pivot bracket used on MV-platform Riccar and Simplicity upright vacuums. Paired with its mirrored left-side partner, it holds the pivot bushing square to the body so the joint swings on a true axis.
Sold on its own, which is what you want: the brackets are handed and damage is rarely symmetrical, so there is no sense buying two when one side is intact. Fresh bushings fitted at the same time are worth the few extra dollars while the joint is apart.
