Steel-core agitator for the 30 series Tandem Air uprights — the Riccar R30 Brilliance and the Simplicity S30 Synchrony — supplied under part C475-0500. It is built to the MV clamping design, where the end caps clamp onto the shaft rather than pressing on.
An agitator is a wear item. Bristles shorten until they stop reaching into carpet pile, bearings turn noisy, and hair packs into the end caps until the belt starts slipping under load. A fresh one brings back the grooming action that a worn roll quietly stopped delivering months ago.
