Right-hand motor cover seal, black, part B480-5814. It seals the right edge of the motor cover against the body of the upright so the airstream stays inside the motor path. When this seal shrinks, tears or gets pinched during a previous repair, unfiltered air bypasses the intended route and suction at the floor drops.
Confirmed fitment covers a wide slice of the 30-series Tandem Air range:
- Simplicity Synchrony uprights: the SCRD, SCRP and SCRS families in .1, .3, .4 and .6 trims, plus SCRD.FETCH and SCRD.6USA
- Simplicity Synchrony: S30D, S30P and S30PET
- Riccar Brilliance: Retriever, and the Standard, Deluxe and Premium builds in both the 4 and 6 series, including the USA edition
Sold individually. The left-side seal is a separate part number, and replacing the pair together gives the cover an even clamp.
