Part D470-2700 is the spring assist upgrade kit for MV platform uprights, the platform shared by the Riccar Brilliance and Simplicity Synchrony. The assist spring shares the effort of reclining and lifting the handle, keeping load off the pedal mechanism and off the handle joint where the machine is worked hardest.

Machines that feel heavy coming back to the upright position, or that drop toward the floor with no resistance at all, are the usual candidates for this kit. Two companion MV parts are stocked separately: the axle shaft B470-2600 and the modified assist spring B470-2700B. Owners of PV machines such as the Radiance need the other version of the kit, D370-4900. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
