TC-F2 is the HEPA Teflon filter listed for the C2 central vacuum from Riccar. It is the element sitting between the dirt canister and the motor, so everything the system picks up passes through it before the airstream ever reaches the fan.
Teflon-coated media is used in central units for a reason: fine dust tends to release from a coated surface instead of embedding itself in the weave, so the element holds its airflow longer than an untreated cloth filter of the same size. Nothing lasts forever, though. Once suction at the inlets no longer comes back after the filter has been cleaned, the media has loaded up permanently and the element is finished.
