Product details

This is the large packing strip for the dust compartment on 4000 and 6000 series uprights, ordered as B224-2300. It seals the long run of the compartment joint, and because it is the bigger of the two sizes, it is the one that usually shows compression damage first.

A tired packing strip is easy to spot once the machine is open: the material stays flat where the cover pressed on it instead of returning to its original height. Dust film inside the housing, or around the outside of the bag door, points the same direction.
